About Cheryl

She is as eclectic as they come, utilizing canvas, paper or plastic to create images that seek a deeper investigation of the magnified and telescopic world. She is an untraditional artist allowing images to navigate her mark making. Whether it is oil, acrylic, mixed-media, watercolors, or pen and ink, she experiments utilizing all mediums. Her passion leads her to continually reach out and volunteer in the community sharing her art all age groups who want to experience art. She strives to bring a deeper understanding of the possibilities experimenting with multiple mediums. She believes in sharing art gives her student the discovery of another voice.

Mission

Sharing her discovery of painting on wet media plastic, she shares it guest lecturing at local colleges. She has judged seven art shows at he college level. She finds opportunities to share her artistic abilities and finding outreach programs where art can be an escape.

As an Art Consultant working with other artists, she places multiple artists’ artwork in private and public collections. Her own work is in collections all over America and in Germany as well. Over the years, this lead to clients seeking her out to help with family estates. Primarily with art at first, she assists in finding the right appraiser, auction or consignment house and navigating vendor to ensure they are working with the best. 

Vision

Still not satisfied, she volunteers with the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Citizens Academy Alumni Association and is President of her neighborhoods, Property Owners Association. She is also a member of Womatec. Cheryl resides in Montgomery, Texas with her husband Larry, Rhodesian Ridgeback, Ditto and American Bobtail, Utopia. Her studio is on property allowing her to paint, sketch, write, or research art whenever she feels inspired, which is often.
