Keeping Our Community Safe & Connected
Montgomery County Sheriff Citizens Academy Alumni Association
Our local law enforcement officers stand on the front lines every day to keep our neighborhoods safe, and supporting them is a cause incredibly close to Cheryl’s heart. Through active involvement with the Montgomery County Sheriff Citizens Academy Alumni Association, JGS Art Studios works to strengthen the bond between our community and the brave men and women in uniform.
Whether it is supporting alumni initiatives, fostering community outreach, or finding ways to show our tangible appreciation for our local deputies, we believe in standing strong behind those who protect Montgomery County.
Creative Healing & Transformation
Fulshear Treatment Center
True healing often requires a language that goes beyond words. That is where art steps in. Cheryl partners with the Fulshear Treatment Center to bring the therapeutic power of artistic expression to young women navigating deep emotional and psychological challenges.
Through dedicated engagement and creative projects, we help provide a safe, nurturing space where these young women can process their journeys, rediscover their inner strength, and paint a new vision for their futures. Seeing the profound transformation that occurs when a soul finds its voice through color and texture is one of the greatest privileges of our work.
Bringing Hope Behind Walls
Kairos Prison Ministry
We firmly believe that no one is beyond the reach of grace, hope, and a fresh start. Through the Kairos Prison Ministry, Cheryl sends Agape love inside the walls of correctional facilities to share a message of unconditional love, forgiveness, and community with incarcerated individuals.
Her art placemats shows theme of Kairos which is listen, listen ,love, love. By sending in with placemats a listening ear, a compassionate heart, and a steady presence to those who often feel entirely forgotten by the world, this ministry aims to break cycles and build foundations for true spiritual and emotional rehabilitation. It is a profound reminder that even in the darkest places, a little light can change everything.
